Subprocessors

The outside services Geistra uses to run, and what each one handles. New ones are listed here at least 30 days before they start (see the Data Processing Addendum).

Current subprocessors

  • Amazon Web Services: Hosting, database, file storage, backups, email sending, malware scanning, text recognition (Textract), search, and AI models (Claude through Amazon Bedrock).Data: All Customer Data. Location: United States (us-east-1; AI also us-east-2 and us-west-2).
  • Supabase: Sign-in.Data: Email address, sign-in method, sign-in times. Location: United States (us-east-1).
  • Stripe: Payments for paid plans.Data: Billing name, email, payment details, plan and usage totals. Location: United States.
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile): Bot check on sign-in.Data: IP address and browser signals during sign-in. Location: Global network.
  • Google: "Continue with Google" sign-in, only if you use it.Data: Email address and name from your Google account. Location: Global network.

Not subprocessors

AI apps you connect to Geistra (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok) act for you, under your agreement with their provider. They aren’t Geistra’s subprocessors.
