Your case has no home.

It lives in inboxes, folders, spreadsheets and people’s heads. So every tool, every new hire and every AI starts from zero. Geistra gives the case one home.

0AI tools that share what they know about your case with each other

“My AI can’t remember the case, and I can’t share what it knows.”

Geistra remembers it for everyone: every session, every teammate, every AI tool.

Most AI tools forget between sessions, or keep memory only inside their own app. Source: Vendor documentation, Oct 2026.

25documents per chat in common legal AI tools

“My AI only sees the files I hand it.”

Load all the files. All means all: we’ve analyzed cases with thousands of documents. Your AI finds what it needs on every page, and cites it.

Caps run 25 to 50 documents. A typical case runs to thousands. Source: Vendor help articles, Oct 2026.

20%associate attrition in 2024

“The case lives in people’s heads.”

It lives in one case file the firm owns. When someone leaves, the case stays.

How it works

Your case is scattered. Geistra brings it together.

  1. 1Right now, your case is scattered:Outlook, Dropbox, OneDrive, scans and phones. No one, and no AI, sees it all at once.
  2. 2Every case gets its own secure home, from intake to close.Nothing lost.
  3. 3Keep the tools you have.Nothing to replace, nothing new to learn.
  4. 4Ask once, and everything comes together:2,612 files, 6,410 pages, all searchable and Bates-numbered.
  5. 5Now the whole team works from the same case file, whatever AI they use. Most AI forgets when you close the chat. Geistra remembers.

What happens in the video

  1. Open the case. Asked: “Create a matter for Harlan v. Quinn and pull the public docket.”. Claude: Case set up. 6 filings are searchable; 4 claims and 1 counterclaim are drafted for your review.

  2. Deadlines on the calendar. Asked: “Put every deadline from the scheduling order on the team's Outlook calendar.”. Claude: 6 deadlines and 2 prep meetings are on the team calendar, with the order attached. A stipulation just moved two dates; updated.

  3. Load the documents. Asked: “Load the documents opposing counsel sent.” (attached PROD_001.zip · 2,612 files). Claude: 2,612 files are searchable. 6,410 pages, Bates numbers on every page, 318 photos searchable.

  4. Match documents to requests. Asked: “Match these documents to our 22 discovery requests and flag problems.”. Claude: 22 requests matched. Three problems: RFP 9 contradicts ROG 5, RFP 14 privilege log is undated, RFP 11 has no documents.

  5. Build the case strategy. Asked: “Build our factual theories from the claims and the evidence.”. Claude: Six theories, each linked to claims, evidence and gaps.

Then: “Lot 4 just sold (Dkt. 44). What changes?” Claude: Trespass and interference are moot. T1 is now strong. RFP 9, RFP 14 and ROG 5 move to urgent.

  6. Share with your team. Asked: “Share it with the partners as a live app.”. Claude: Live at app.geistra.pro/s/harlan-quinn. Shared with 3 partners.

  7. Closing card: The whole case, in one place. Geistra for law firms.

How we handle security and privilege

Works with the AI your firm already uses

Your firm picks the AI. Your data stays in one secure place.

Claude or ChatGPT, on business terms.
Team, Enterprise or API accounts whose terms prohibit training on your inputs. The fastest path, and available now.
Your own cloud.
Need the AI to run inside your firm’s own private cloud? Available on request.
Your practice management system.
Keep your practice management system for billing and admin. Geistra holds the case knowledge.

AI and attorney-client privilege

The first federal ruling on AI and privilege, United States v. Heppner (S.D.N.Y., Feb. 2026), denied protection where a client used a consumer AI tool on his own, under terms that allowed training and disclosure, without counsel's direction. It left the door open where counsel directs the work and the tool's terms keep it confidential. A month later, Morgan v. V2X (D. Colo., Mar. 2026) wrote that standard into a protective order: no training on inputs, no disclosure beyond the service, deletion on request, and written proof. Geistra is built to meet it.

Kept confidential.

Use Claude or ChatGPT on business plans that don’t train on your data. Documents stay in the U.S. Export or delete them any time.

Directed by counsel.

Counsel opens the case, decides who can see what, and tells the team to work there. Every AI request happens inside that setup, and the case itself shows it.

A complete paper trail.

Every change shows who made it, when, through which AI, and why. Attorney-only folders keep work product private. If two people change the same thing, Geistra shows both and asks which is right.

General background, not legal advice. Privilege rules vary by jurisdiction. Agree the approach with counsel before work begins.

Data retention and archiving

Closing a case shouldn’t mean losing it. Your firm decides how long each case is kept, and when it goes.

Nothing expires on its own.
A case and its full history stay in Geistra until your firm deletes them.
Archive when the case closes.
Archived cases leave your active list and become read-only, but stay searchable when a client calls back or a matter reopens.
Export the whole case.
Documents, records and the full change history, in standard formats, whenever you need them.
Delete on your schedule.
When your retention period ends, delete the case permanently.

Questions about security and data

Where is our data stored?
Stored in the U.S., encrypted, and kept separate for each case.
Does any AI train on it?
Not through Geistra. The AI client you choose has its own terms; use business terms.
Who can see what?
You decide who sees what. Attorney-only folders for work product. Every change logged.
Can we leave?
Export everything or delete it at any time.
